Audio Video Partners (AVP) continues its work with Beneficial Communities with three projects located in Florida and Georgia. Each project includes a security system comprised of access control and CCTV cameras, network cabling throughout the building,
and audiovisual systems in the common areas.

Freedom’s Path Augusta

Located at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Georgia, Freedom’s Path Augusta is scheduled to open in April of 2018. With a priority to serve some of the most vulnerable, at-risk, low income and/or disabled veterans who are able to live independently, rental subsidies will be administered by the City of Augusta Housing Authority. The scattered site consists of 98 units including efficiencies and one-bedroom apartments. The buildings have laundry facilities, computer labs, fitness centers, meeting rooms and full-time management.

Houston Street Manor Apartments

Houston Street Manor is an income-restricted community consisting of 72 one and two-bedroom residential apartments for seniors. Amenities include a club room, court yard, computer lab, fitness center, elevator, multipurpose rooms, and full-time management. The 7-story building is located at 139 Jefferson Street North in Jacksonville, Florida and is scheduled to open September 1, 2018.

Northlake Senior Apartments

Located in Tucker, Georgia and scheduled to open in the spring of 2019, the Northlake Senior Apartments project will be a 90-unit mixed use property with conventional and limited-income apartments. The community will offer one and two-bedroom apartment homes, club room fitness center, elevator, library and computer lab.

“AVP is an integral part of the product and services we provide to our veterans, seniors and families,” says Karen Weeks, Director of Asset Management for Beneficial Communities. “They continue to provide a high level of excellence to our customers.”

“We’ve enjoyed the privilege of working with Beneficial Communities for several years now,” says Kevin Tippen from Audio Video Partners, “and whether we’re building homes for veterans or seniors, it’s our job to make sure each property is a safe and secure environment with access to all the modern conveniences that technology can provide.”
