Sarasota, FL – Audio Video Partners (AVP) recently completed the installation of a custom audiovisual system for the Pierce Manufacturing facility located in Bradenton, Florida.
Pierce Manufacturing builds fire engines for clients all over the world, and when the finished product is ready to go, they make a formal presentation in the Customer Acceptance Warehouse. When it was time for an upgrade, they contacted AVP to design a custom AV system to meet the needs of the expansive warehouse space.
“This was a challenging project due to the high ceilings in their production facility,” says Tony Liga, Commercial Project Manager for AVP. “But our installation team is used to working in difficult environments.”
“With our old AV system we had to rent the projector and the speakers each time, we had a manual screen at the far end of the building, and the sound system never filled the room,” says Ted Schellinger, the Principal Technical Analyst for Pierce Manufacturing. “Now we can accommodate several hundred attendees at one time, and they can all see and hear the presentation without any problems.”
The design called for a unique V-Shaped screen configuration designed to accommodate presentations for large crowds in the Customer Acceptance Warehouse, AVP worked with the client to custom fabricate the diamond-plated ceiling mounts.
The custom mounts we’re so well-received, the team collaborated on a similar diamond-plated ceiling tile for the projector that AVP installed in the training room.
